Ken,
Edelbrock makes heat isolation spacers for their carbs. There are two
different types, depending on which style of manifold you have, single or
dual plane, and the kit come with longer carbs studs. I put one on my car
and as always, Edelbrock stuff fits as it should. The spacer is about 1/4"
thick, made of some composite insulating material, with metal grommets at
the stud locations. They are available from Jegs, Summit, etc., If you need
the part numbers I can look them up for you.
