I too dumped a 454 on small block springs. I haven't had any clearance
problems ie headers/oil pan. Although, the crossmember/oil pan don't have
much ground clearance, about 4 inches, I am yet to bottom it out. It gave
the car what I think is the perfect look. Have pics if anyone wants to see
it.
