3.70 and 3.73 are different. They are different pinion / ring gear combinations. A 10 tooth pinion with a 37 tooth ring gear (which Ford uses) gives you a 3.70 . An 11 tooth pinion with a 41 tooth ring gear will give you a 3.73. Close, but not quite the same.
