>I don't want junk sitting out in public view either. But I understand that >one mans junk is another mans treasure, and so should our legislators. If >our 'junk' is out of public view, then it's nobody's business what or where >it is. Unfortunately, it has nothing at all to do with junk piling up or emissions from badly tuned cars. It has everything to do with credits for air pollution standards not being met in our cities. It's a way to get by without doing anything about the real polluters. It's kinda like the EPA and smog controls on cars....government intervention has created huge coffers of money to finance things we would never stand for our taxes paying for. The "bad guys" are targeting all things automotive because any other group would be a lot more organized in the fight against them. The EPA is the only government agency that doesn't have to answer to anyone else....this is bad business for us. Once they get the go ahead to come get cars out of garages, they'll have the kind of control we fought against in every war we've been in. Hopefully there's gonna be enough of us to get organized and fight this, but as late as it is in the game, we're not looking at good odds here.... Kelly C.
