Unfortunately, it has nothing at all to do with junk piling up or emissions 
from badly tuned cars. It has everything to do with credits for air 
pollution standards not being met in our cities. It's a way to get by 
without doing anything about the real polluters. It's kinda like the EPA 
and smog controls on cars....government intervention has created huge 
coffers of money to finance things we would never stand for our taxes 
paying for. The "bad guys" are targeting all things automotive because any 
other group would be a lot more organized in the fight against them. The 
EPA is the only government agency that doesn't have to answer to anyone 
else....this is bad business for us.

Once they get the go ahead to come get cars out of garages, they'll have 
the kind of control we fought against in every war we've been in. Hopefully 
there's gonna be enough of us to get organized and fight this, but as late 
as it is in the game, we're not looking at good odds here....
