I have given up trying to locate good, used 69 Chevelle front fenders and the "metal benders" for some reason do not make a patch panel for the rust problems I have to repair. The area around the wheel well next to where the battery is located is rotted through rather extensively. On the drivers side, rust is in the same location, but is less extensive than the passenger side. Does anyone have lying around what might be considered "junk" fenders from a wreck that suitable patch panels might be able to be removed from this region. It does not even matter if the area is crumbled somewhat from collision damage as long as the metal is sound and "rust free".
