Thanks Tom. I have to get down to the store and pop that crate open. Will let you guys know what it turns out to be. This tranny will be f/s as soon as I have determined for sure what it is. For you guys in the NYC area, this may be a chance to get a brand new (i.e never used) TH400 at a good price.   John Nasta Old Car Network http://oldcarnetwork.com     -----Original Message----- bolt pattern from tranny to the block.  the BOP tranny will have high mounted upper holes.  see the poor illustration below.  the upper 2 mounting holes on the BOP tranny are in the same place as a chevy trans but higher up.  i hope this makes sense.
