"it ain't always what you see." I have almost 200 buys on ebay and have seen it all. Yes, there are tons of good sellers on ebay butt there are also tons who are flaky and will do anything to make a buck.
Boy Larry, you hit the nail on the head....the only time I even look at auctions for parts is when I know they aren't trying to "pull wool". Almost every part listed for the 78-87 EC, MC, Malibu, etc. are listed at the same price you can get them for at the dealer....Caveat Emptor was never more appropriate. The worst thing is they sell a lot of these parts.
Anytime it says NOS, you can bet it's not. There are good buys on ebay for car parts, but they are rare.....
