Hello

My first car was a Chevy, 1964 Malibu SS, Hardtop, Midnight Blue, with
the Light Blue Interior, 283 Engine, Auto on the floor, with bucket seats.
Wow... what a car and a lot of great memories.
I kept the car in fantastic shape, and spotless, right up until July
6th,
1972 when a gal in a brand new MG Convertible pulled out in front of me,
making a left hand turn. She had just picked up her shoes for the prom, in
her new MG, her graduation present. Must have been nice, but for me, I
worked
for every penny I had in my car.
Well, that Chevy just outright totalled that MG, even at 40 miles per
hour. The Malibu got hurt bad too, but just the fender, grill, bumper, hood
and windshield. It was enough to have the insurance company total it. I
collected the insurance, and went back to the scrap yard to buy the car
back,
only to find it gone...never to been seen from again.
Now, I'm 48 years old, and you know what, I'm still looking for a 1964
Malibu SS, Hardtop, Midnight Blue, with the Light Blue Interior, 283 Engine,
Auto on the floor, with bucket seats. From 1972 til now, I've never seen one
like it, even though I keep looking. Oh, I have had the opportunity to buy a
beautiful convertible, but never one like I had.
So now, today, I've joined this list, hoping maybe I can find one in
poor
condition to restore, or, well, I can still dream...
