You can just grab them while the engine is running.  If you get the pi** shocked out of you, then the wires are bad. :-))) Another cheap way is to watch the engine bay in the pitch dark.  If you see sparks on/thru/around the wires, they are bad.  :-)) Happy troubleshooting!   Keith Cooper wrote: I have been told that you can check plug wires by taking an Ohms reading on them.
