[Chevelle-List] tranny speedo gear

Tried to get a new speedo gear for the turbo 400 , parts guy at NAPA said to try dealer or tranny shop . Why Iam looking is the speedometer is off while runnun down the road. Been this way since day one ,( Dad says that is why I have no tickets in that car).The gear is brown ( 39teeth ), the one out of the Impala I have is red it has fewer teeth  on it(37).Does anyone know off hand if they make these with more teeth?
