Go for it. Just be aware that its "different" One
piece rear seal - you'll need appropriate flex plate. Center bolt valve
covers ( I think). Roller Cam - maybe - but an improvement over flat
tappet. If you are rebuilding it anyway, you can get the comp
ratio/cam of your choice.

Howdy,
Firts of all, thanks for the help with the E-Brake cable thing. Found the hole right away once I knew where to look. HEY, stop thinking that way. HAHA
OK then. I have the opportunity to pick up a 350 engine out of an 87 blazer for $100. The guy, ( a friend of a friend) said it ran "about a year ago", then he picked up a new truck, and it sat outside till now.
While I realize that this motor really isnt the best choice (cam, compression ratio, etc..),would it be worth the time, effort, and money to use this to replace the 6 cyl currently residing in my engine compartment? Will it mate to the Powerglide and be streetable? There are a lot of unforseen variables, huh?
What'd y'all tink? Take it easy
