GM A bodies refer to all full frame mid size GM cars from 64-77, ie Chevelle, LeMans, GTO, Skylark, Monte Carlo, Cutlass, 442.  All these share the same frame and chassis components for the most part

F bodies are Novas, Camaros & Firebirds and they are a unibody design, not a full frame.  They use leaf spring suspension as opposed to a coil spring setup like the A bodies have.

G bodies refer to the 78-88 Mid Size GM cars, basically same models as the A bodies (Cutlass, Malibu, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Regal, GN, 442, El Camino)

The GM A bodies for the most part interchange with each other except for model specific parts like interior, sheetemetal, drivetrain, trim pieces, etc.  Some parts off F boides and the full size cars will even interchange on the A bodies

This list is full of very knowledgable people that are ready and willing to help.
