Great advice Jeff, I would consure with most of what you mention.
I have the Art Morrison rear clip in my 69 Chevelle. The frame rails are too
narrow. With my Ford 9", the driver's side ladder bar mount had to be welded
to the flat surface of the center section!! Jeez, now I have to remove the
ladder bar mount bolt in order to pull out the 3rd member.
I also had to make extensions for my wheel tubs to get them to reach the
quarter, and I don't have room to run exhaust to the rear of the car. There's
nothing but a 3rd member, panhard bar, rails and wheel tubs, all very close
together, right where the exhaust would need to run thru.
Fortunately, the fuel cell just barely fit between the frame rails.

If AM would simply widen the frame rails 6"-12" (yes, up to 12" wider), I
wouldn't have any of the above mentioned problems, and I'd still have plenty of
room for the 21" wide tires.

I spoke to AM about my setup, and asked if I had the correct frame, answer was
'yes'. Then I mentioned these problems, and they insisted their product was
perfect. Real cocky, and a real jerk (at Super Chevy no less).
I also emailed them with a bunch of details and questions, no response.

So, I was pretty happy with the quality of their products, with the one
exception. However, ever since talking to the guy at Super Chevy, I'd never
buy from them again.

Just my $.02 worth.....
