You have to change the transmission speedo gears to match.  Assuming tire size remains the same and you know what old rear ratio you're replacing with what new ratio, it's a simple swap of a couple of speedo gears.  A couple of sites to help you calculate which gear you need are:
 
 
All the above work well if you like math and are changing wheel/tire sizes from stock as well or using a non-factory offered trans in 67 like the TH350, 200-4R or700-R4.  If you're using stock (or comparable) sized wheel/tires, http://www.team67.com/groups/group.004/miscellaneous_parts.htm will show the GM part numbers for a 67 w/4-speed and 4.10 gears (Chevrolet didn't offer a 4.11 ratio after 64 but did have a 4.10).  The gear you need for a 4-speed w/4.10 gears is group 4.337, part number 3860348; 25 tooth and orange in color.
