I've done both....black or raised letters. I think the trend today is blackwall. BUT, your 69 would probably look good with raised letters. Do you have a friend with raised letters so you could "try" one side to see if you really do like it?
If I ever get my LS6 back on the road, I planned on two sets of tires......originals ( if I can find them) for show, and probably whatever is the newest tire around for cruzin...
