When I
did get through to the new page, I thought that I had to sign up again. I went
through the motions and hit the subscribe button it told me that I was already
subscribed.

I bet it's because
you signed up again. I didn't and I'm not having any problem. Try
un-subscribing from the list and see what happens. I bet you start getting
just one copy of the mail.

No, I use Outlook 2000 and connect directly to my ISP who
carries my
email account. No Hotmail, AOL, Netscape,
etc.
