Shift kits usually improve the quality of shift. The slur between shifts is diminished. Minor modifications are usually done to the valve body for lighter duty ones. Under wot with a good shift kit the wheels will chirp when the trans goes through the gears. Shift kits also prolong the life of the trans by not slipping as much during shifts. It can tend to be harder on universal joints as you might guess. ----- Original Message ----- From: "gm2" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, October 10, 2003 10:15 AM Subject: [Chevelle-list] (no subject)
