I tried connecting the purple to the start terminal and
nothing happened when I turned the key. The yellow
wire can’t be for the distributor. It would never reach it. Normally one wire
is for the S (start) terminal and the other is for the R (regulator) terminal.
With an internal regulator, you don’t need the one for the R. Thanks, John Nasta -----Original
