Florida is great.  Been there a few time that's work related.  I don't know if it's still a scare but a few years ago there seem to be a rash of visitors from Europe with rental cars being involved in a staged 'accident' then being assaulted and robbed.  Nothing agains Florida or any state in the U.S. as I'm sure it happens in Europe as well.  Just be extra careful when driving (remember we have speed limits in the U.S. <g>) and try not to get boxed in.  Like Gunner said, there are places to avoid and never flash a lot of cash.  Don't know how much time you have, but both coasts are great, Disneyworld and/or Universal's Theme Park, the Don Garlits drag racing museum in Ocala, Cape Canaveral, Daytona Beach...all great places to see.

One really neat thing about Florida is you can drive across the state (east-west) in a short time and see both the Atlantic and the Gulf Coast and still catch neat stuff in between!  Have a great time, I'll bet you do, too!

Subject: RE: [Chevelle-list] First time to USA

guys and girls,

Tuesday morning early I’ll leave Bologna and go to Florida for a two week holiday.

I am used to travel a lot but its my first time to USA so I thought it is a good idea asking if there is anything special I need to know?

I’ll log of the list this weekend, but I cant find the craft-o-matic instructions, hahaha

Full Revs!!!

:o)

André
