No stock oval port BBC head came with anything other than the 2.06/1.72 valve combo. Almost all rectangular port BBC heads came with the 2.19/1.88 combo. I would have to see some documentation of any production BBC rect.port head with 2.25 intakes. I had a pair of Bowtie alum. oval port heads w/2.25 intakes on my 68 Elky's 468" but they were an over-the-counter part.
