Hello, I just got back from the tri-Chevy swap
in Peotone, Il today and met a vender that converts standard AM radios to AM-FM
with inputs for either xm or CD player without disturbing any stock appearance
of the radio. He offers both 2 and 4 channel set ups. When you turn
on the radio it is automatically on FM. To get AM you turn it of and back
on. RCA plugs on the back for inputs. The radio push buttons still
work for presets and the sound is very good. He states that the reception
for FM is excellent with the windshield antenna's on the 70-72's. Anyone
looking to have this done I can give you a contact. He is out of Michigan
and it is about a 3-4 week turn around. It is $380 for the conversion for
the 2 or 4 channel.
