The fire wall pad ( insulation) can be a PITA to do, with your heater box out of the way, it;it's just fitting around the steering column and pedal brace, emergency brake bracket, fuse box. it helps if the dash gauge /radio is pulled, for more room behind that area, the next challenge is the push through plastic fasteners.. I cut the end off an old stubby screw driver , to fit inside the plastic depth , and used it with a mallet like a driver/dowel. that with a liberal coating of spray silicone achieved there insertion...
