Thinking about getting a new hood with some additional clearance for my 68. Seems the engine is getting a little taller. I see a lot about a steel 69 hood with a 3" or 4" scoop system but I have to use 69 hinges.
When I got the car a few months ago, it had a very nice set of chrome hinges and the guy handed me a set of not so pretty black ones. The question...how do I determine if the chromies are 68 or ( hopefully ) 69. I'd like to keep them if possible. Scott
