Herb, I notice they have three color choices....Can you recommend any preference. I know the blue is basic, but is one more visible than the other. I have black interior. I also have a separate tach, so the Dakota tach is no big problem. Now the big question......Do you think it's worth the cost and wait?

Hi Dan, I have Dakota gauges in my Elky. For the most part I like them and they're great for "wow" factor when you power up at night. However, I don't like the tach because it's got very slow response time and it's hard to read quickly. The speedo is great because you can calibrate it while driving. The other gauges are fine for the info they provide. Has anyone installed a coil over shock system front and back on there car? Are they worth the cost?...Can you tell the difference? Second question...I'm planning on having Dakota repair my dash and install all digital gauges in my old speedometer case...anyone done the same...Good.. Bad? Dan
