Glad you got the brake problems sorted out,Larry. Sounds like you have yourself a sweet 65.
I'm going to build another 427" for my 69 this year.

A week ago I e-mailed the list looking for any help for a brake problem.  If you recall, I installed a new 8" booster and master cylinder.  The car originally had a dual master cylinder w/ discs on the front only.  The car has early 70s Camaro front discs and stock drums on the rears.  After the installation the car had no or little front brake and the rears locked up.  I installed a proportioning valve on the rear, but was still having problems with lock up.

I appreciate the help the list from those who bothered to respond.

Here what I did to fix the problem:

I installed organic pads on the front instead of hard pads.

Reversed the lines from the master cylinder - front reservoir to the front brakes.

And the most significant thing was to adjust the proportioning valve the RIGHT WAY.

It works great NOW.

I also had a Headman X-pipe installed on the car today.  I sounds awesome.

The 427 BB has Edelbrock RPMs and a new Comp Hyd Roller.
