Upon removing my rear window molding to clean it up, I noticed that over time some of the rivets have come out and the clips fallen off.
Is this something I can do on my own at home (replacing the rivets and clips)? Or should I take it to a body shop or Safelite maybe?
Are you talking about the rivets that are welded to the body to hold the molding clips? I went to the hardware store & bought small stainless steel screws, drilled a hole where the rivet had been, and screwed the clip back on. That's what my glass guy said to do.
