[Chevelle-list] manual choke (Edelbrock carb)

I guess this was somewhat of a mistake but my Edelbrock carb is manual choke. I bought a choke cable but there is no hole in the choke cam to hook a cable to. What do people do with these carbs? Do I need to drill a hole in the cam? I'm getting a little tired of having to open the hood on the first start of the day to set the choke.   Thanks, John Nasta
