[Chevelle-list] new rearend gears
I'm able to walk now without the padded
boot. Still weak and tender, though. Thanks for asking,Bob.
Adding a posi is possible just by
installing a limited-slip differential. Eaton makes a good one.
However, your 3.08 ring & pinion will need their clearances re-done
when the posi unit is added.

No need to change rear ends unless
you absolutely need the extra strength. 3.73's will work fine if
you have an overdrive trans. They're kinda low if you don't.

Im thinking of changing the
gears in the rearend of my 65 chevelle. im pretty sure they
are 308's and its a 10 bolt. can a guy get new gears or
should he swap rear ends if he can find one.
id like to have 378's or
something in that range and posi. any ideas?
