Coilovers would be an expensive way to do what you're trying to do,Matt. Just get some different coil springs,,if you determine the ride height isn't what you want.

Since someone brought up coilovers I figured I would ask this question. I have a 70 SS with a 454. I have bought new springs for front and back. I wanted to raise the ass end of the car up maybe an inch or two. But I dont want to put air shocks on it. Should I put some coilover shocks on it? Would they raise it an inch or two?Any suggestions? I dont have the frame painted and back together yet so I dont know what the stock springs will do. I did buy big block springs for the front and heavy duty rear.
