It will very likely hold up.  But what it will not hold is a flywheel or clutch explosion.  If you're running a lot of HP, and/or like to spin it to high RPM and/or running sticky tires, you really should get a steel bellhousing (aka scattershield).    It's far cheaper to buy new parts than to replace feet.  :-)
