i have a 67 chevelle, e-mailed in some time ago about not being able to remove the vent knobs, one person suggested just to pull it out as far as the rod would come out and cut it, really didnt want to do it this way although it would work, with 3 kids i have little time for the car, the simple solution is heat gun, and if your lucky enough to live in michigan, national parts depot has the replacement knobs, located in livonia, 1- 734- 591- 1956 hope this
