When I did my swap over ten years ago it was still kind of a new thing to do. They got a new (shorter) driveshaft and fabriucated the tranny mount on the crossmember to fit, instead of moving the crossmember. Otherwise they had no problems fitting it into the car.

You might want a new shifter, because without some fiddling you may only have access to P-N-D-3
