thanks for clarifying that...I only know what the seller told me...the tremec was added ...it was a 4 sp car , but got the tremec and a set of vortec heads..I did see another RS/SS advertized in the ''old car trader'' rag thats on the newstands, with the only difference that it was a convertible....
 
I'm actually getting physical possesion of it next week..

The Rally Sport option has the hidden headlights. Super Sports were available with either small or big blocks.
However,if the car has a 5speed trans,that is something that has been added.

I am not a Camaro aficionado, but what do you mean by RS SS 350 5 sp? I always thought that the RS was a small block (350) and the SS was a big block, the same way that the "sister car" (Firebird) had a Formula (350) and a Trans Am (400).

 

I'm not claiming to know the answer nut I am curious about the "RS SS" thing. I like those first gen Camaros and would buy a convertible if I could. Now you can buy basically all of the body parts too, and even a jig for aligning the parts, so you can basically build one from scratch. Pretty cool.
