I've often wondered by GM didn't put drain holes in El Camino beds,like they did do in their light trucks. My car is parked in my shop the majority of the time but when the bed does get rain in it,I can let the air out of the rear bags and add some to the front. It's very flat here anyway. The way the car sits causes the water to puddle up in the front of the bed. Driveway? What's that?   I think whenever I get around to having the floors patched properly I will also ask the guy to drill some holes and install some drain tubing. In the meantime it drains out of the holes in the rear floor area. This is probably what caused them to rot in the first place. I find the easiest way to get the water out of the bed is to step on the gas :) I have also developed a little technique with a plastic dustpan. I used to park it facing up hill as much as I could and the rain/melting snow would run out by the tail gate. If your driveway is flat I would make ramps that would elevate the front enough to get the same effect until you come up with a permanent solution. good luck, Jimmy.C
