Glad to hear you bought some headers for your 66,Larry. On my 68 BB Elky,the Sandersons really weren't too close to anything. However,make sure the head bolts don't have header flange interference. Mine did with the Bowtie alum heads. With my engine almost complete now, I attached the headers to see how they fit. As you know, the driver's side is real short and drops straight down, whereas the passenger side is much longer and doesn't drop nearly as quickly.   From your memory, how close does the passenger side collector get to the firewall?
