Bill, better you than me living in Oklahoma.(GRIN) I had a stint of 9 years in Memphis. I traveled the whole USA, but home was always back in Texas. I’ve been home now for 21 years and plan to keep it that way. Honestly, there are many places in the USA I could live. Many wondrous beautiful places! But again, home is home!!

Of course we can have some hellish summers over 100 degrees and 70% humidity is horrible! Throw in a hurricane or two!! You give and get, although we see plenty of folks from up North going to the Rio Grande Valley for the Winter!

Many years ago I was spending a winter in Marquette, MI. The starter went in my truck in December and i had to swap it out in my driveway. It was -15 degrees below zero. The cold soaked through me until I actually ached. The memory of it is still with me today. I HATE winter....
