if small block you will be rev. high with 4.56 track use mostly would work
better with a big block------3.73 are a good all around gear--- I have 3.90
in my small block---at 60 r.p.m.s are 3500

OK folks,
I have the opportunity to use 3.73 or 4.56 gears in
the 10-bolt posi I'm going to put in the '66. The car
has a 300+/-HP 327 and PG. Anyone have any thoughts
or previous experience with the 4.56 gears and the
PG/small block setup?
I drive the car to local shows, and want to be able to
take it to Cecil on occasion. A relative told me to
do the 4.56s and nothing less, thus my indecision.
