I think they're due too, but it seems the people willing to spend money on Vettes are always looking for the steel bumper models.  I can't blame them though, I prefer '72 and older Vettes myself.  In fact, if I had had more money at the time, I would have bought a '69 or '70 instead of my '76.  Now that I've had it for over 13 years and it doesn't really cost me anything to keep, I see no reason to get rid of it.  Besides, I'm in the process of building a 454 to put in it.  : )

I have an alarm on my Vette because at one time it was my daily transportation.  Now that I don't drive it too often, the alarm drains the battery so I have to keep a battery tender hooked up all the time.  It's a pita and I don't think it would stop a thief if he really wanted it.  I guess since it's a '76 it's probably pretty safe!  <g>
