HI,
Goodmark had some tooling issues when first released, so they stopped selling them until the dies were reworked. It took about a year to get right, but that is the most impressive thing about them, they don't sell stuff unless it is as good as possible. The 66 cowl hood is also licensed thru GM and has to meet their fit standards. I have sold a few of them since the re-release and have not had any complaints.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Best 66 cowl hood?

After several atempts to locate a decent factory hood for my 66 I'm thinking of going with a cowl hood.
Can anyone recomend a good manufacture of a cowl hood for a 66 chevelle?
I have read in the past that the goodmarks don't fit well. (true??)
thanks for any help on this

Dan
