Happy New years to all my Chevelle Buddies !!!! May 2006 be good for
all !
I myself am glad 2005 is finally gone! Since September I have had 2 empty
rental homes (both trashed),a recurring sciatica nerve problem, diagnosed
with diabetes (type 2) & recently found a lump on my lower rib cage. Today I
had an ultra sound and it seems the lump is just a fatty deposit ! So I get to
call the surgeon and cancel my appointment with him : )! During this time I
turned 55.So I've started to diet and am getting into exercising. I can already
see and feel the difference. Now for the lecture- All of you 40+ guys need
to have a checkup once a year. If it hadn't been for my sciatica problem I would
have never gone to the Doctor. It wasn't until he did a complete physical on me
did I realize how important ones health is.
So today I went out bought a engine hoist and stand. Tuesday I am going
down to the machine shop and picking up my aluminum head 454 that has been there
for 4 years (paid for just didn't have the room or the time to work on the
car). Also Tuesday my new 4L80E transmission is supposed to be arriving . Finally
after 6 years I am going to start working on the car and quit buying
parts .
