According to my Chevrolet parts book, this carb was also used on the Sp. H/Per. 396 (a.k.a. L78).  That would account for the early August date.  May be more ‘valuable’ as a L78 carb than a LS6. ???

Hi gang.  I can’t seem to access the classified section, something wrong with my username and or password.

I’ve come across a carburetor for a LS6 that a friend would like to sell.  Carb is in very good shape but would need a rebuilt.  It’s been sitting around for over 20 years.  It is for a manual transmission number 3967477-GG, List 4557, Date 981 (first week August 1969) with metering blocks number 4519 and 6328.  I wanted to get offers here before putting on Ebay.  I can get pictures.

Thanks

Craig

How much does he want for it?????  Let me know.  Just FYI, LS6 production did not start until December of 1969 when the RPO was introduced.  Are there pictures of this carb?
