Well, today, my sixty-second birthday, was fire up day for the 350.

Yesterday was close and I figured maybe it would take another half hour to hook up the ignition wire, the electric choke, and install the battery.

As anyone who has been through it knows, there is always a lot more to do than what we see.  So, after six hours of labor today the 350 crate motor was cranked over.  15 seconds.  15 more seconds, to get fuel to the carb.  Yup, it squirts.  Crank one more second and it starts.

Life is good.
