I'm wondering if you can use the old horseshoe style console with a Hurst shifter? I have a pistol grip style Hurst shifter. I want to add a console. Any of you that have the console that will fit a 72 Chevelle, is their a plate that can be removed and a new one modified to fit in it's place so I could use the Hurst Shifter with the console?
I don't have a console, and have never looked at the old style, to see if it could be modified for my use!
