Well I took apart my rear end and it wasn't just a broken c clip. The pinion
shaft was broken in 3 parts and gears were everywhere. So I'm having them
install an Eaton posi unit with 3.73 gears. I had wanted to upgrade to a 12
bolt but money is an issue, so I'm sticking with the 10 bolt. Does anyone
have recommendations on an Auto tranny with overdrive? I've read a lot about
700r and/or 200r????? Any suggestions on the pros and cons? Thanks.

it's been my experience, that 64/65 HT and Conv doors are the same except
for the jam wedge.
As for the glass The 64's had a cast metal frame where as the 65's had sheet
metal also incorporated in the glass channel.. BUT the glass and it frame
are interchangeable HT/CONV.
