Hi
John,
Glad
to hear everything worked out! I know exactly how you feel about your
friend's car. I have a friend with a big block 70 El Camino and he would
pull ahead of me and I could never get around him, which of course launched the
rebuild! It never ends! : )

Subject: [Chevelle-list] New Heads on, FINALLY.I've had the new heads on the Chevelle for about 3 weeks now. I waited until now to say anything because I wanted to make sure that all was fine with the transplant.Clint, you were correct in saying that I would be able to tell the difference. Yes I can tell the difference. A buddy of mine has a '72 Cutlass 455 that he built the engine to 442 specs, he used to walk away from me when we were horsing around, BUT NO LONGER, I walk away from him. Oh did I mention that he has about $7,000 in his engine rebuild. He is saying that he is going to change his carbs and then he will kick my but again. It sure feels good when you do something and it all turns out good. :-)John L.
