No these are the spring rods below the trunk shelf this is on a 72 chevelle.

Jim,  As I recall they must go on the same cylinder and facing the same direction.  Pistons should be marked as to cylinder and direction when removed.  Or are these all new parts??

Anyone have a good picture or instructions on putting the rods back on????  I thought I had a pcture but can not find it.  I do remember that is is a pain in the butt.
