Jim, I started using a nylon cover on the Chevelle when I put it in storage at my parents place(heated). My biggest reason is the occasional use as a table...but more importantly was the time my dad remodeled a couple rooms and sprayed the baseboard heaters in the garage....white overspray on a black car...nuff said...plenty of elbow grease to fix that.... My car is always in the garage, but I thought it might be nice to still have a cover over, as folks going through my garage always find a way to rub up against the car or want to set things "temporarily" on top of it. Does anyone have one of these covers, and if so, has it been kind to your car's finish? Again the car sits in the garage, so it's more for protection from the HUMAN element rather than the weather..
