No, there's no switch on the carb. Just so there's no misunderstanding, when I turn the key off, the engine isn't "running on" it's running like normal as if I didn't touch the key. Thanks for the thought though.

So, being the smart guy that I am, I went to NAPA and bought a new ignition switch. I installed it a few minutes ago, started the engine, let it run for a minute or two and then turned the key to off, and guess what? It kept running! Obviously the ignition switch isn't the problem.
