Rocky, when I put my '66 back together I don't recall a gasket called a
paint chip gasket. Can you be more specific?

I'm replaceing what is called the paint chip gasket on
my rear quarter extensions.
The replacement rubber looking from the end of it,
looks like a <U
with one leg shorter than the other with a portion of
it on the short side that tapers down like a
windshield wiper blade. I know It just snaps on, but
does the flat taper part go up or down.
