My son's 2002 Expedition just spit out a spark plug which stripped the threads.
There seems to be no room to get drilling or tapping tools at it while in the
car. A San Diego dealer wants to remove the aluminum head and either replace
it for $3500 or install a helicoil for $800. Does anyone know of a better
(cheaper) way to cure this?
Thanks,
Dennis McGillis
